Do you want to know the secret to this life? Just kidding because I do not know. The truth is I do not want to know the secret if there is one; I enjoy the mystery of life, and more importantly Gods mysterious ways.

Did the Church hurt you in some way? Did you hang around a self-proclaimed Christian that was too rough around the edges? Maybe You do not like Christians as a body of people.

I personally prefer the term Jesus follower because it makes much more sense to me. Throughout history all kinds of people followed Jesus. Judas for example, was the disciple who followed Jesus, and yet he betrayed Jesus and turned Jesus over to the authorities.

Jesus still loved Judas even after his betrayal and suicide. Do you believe Judas is in hell? Truthfully, I believe Judas is in heaven because he helped fulfill Jesus’s prophecy and the Bible says God shows mercy to those crushed in spirit.

I am not saying you should betray someone because you follow Jesus or do not follow Jesus or try and betray Jesus himself. Nor do I think it’s good to take your own life; with that being said, suicide is betraying everyone who loves you: including God!

I suppose I will get off my soapbox now. Life is not easy, and perhaps it was not meant to be, but at least we have God and each other to confide in. Stay safe out there!
